The Mystic Experience is a private, one-on-one online breathwork practice centered around breath, meditation, reflection, and sacred practice. Each 30-day journey offers a space to explore a particular inner landscape through consistent practice and personal guidance.
Below are answers to some common questions about breathwork, online sessions, and what you can expect when you enter a Temple.
Breathwork is the intentional practice of bringing awareness to the breath and working consciously with different breathing techniques.
The breath is something we carry with us every moment, yet most of the time it moves without our attention. In breathwork, we turn toward it intentionally.
Depending on the practice, the breath may become an anchor for presence, a form of meditation, a way of exploring energy, or simply a place to become still and listen.
Within The Mystic Experience, breathwork is approached as sacred practice—an invitation to experience the breath rather than something to master or perform.
The Mystic Experience is a private 30-day online breathwork journey practiced one-on-one through Zoom.
Rather than meeting once for an isolated breathwork session, we spend a month exploring a particular theme through four different breath practices.
Each Temple is devoted to a different inner landscape:
Temple of Stillness — Peace
Temple of Illumination — Clarity
Temple of Refuge — Anxious Moments & Grounding
Temple of Courage — Fear & Courage
You choose the Temple that speaks to where you are now.
Your private experience includes:
Four 60-minute private 1:1 Zoom sessions
Four different 11-minute guided breathwork practices
Continued personal practice between our sessions
Four Temple Guidance Cards
A personalized practice journal
Journal prompts for reflection and exploration
Time for stillness, conversation, and integration
Each week introduces another practice while allowing you time between sessions to experience the breath on your own.
Each session begins by arriving.
We take time to talk, reflect on your practice, and explore anything you have noticed since our previous meeting.
I then introduce your next breathing practice and guide you through the technique so you understand how to practice comfortably on your own.
At the heart of our session is an 11-minute guided breathwork practice.
When the breath ends, we do not immediately rush back into conversation.
There is stillness.
There is time to notice.
And when you are ready, there is space to reflect upon what you experienced.
Eleven minutes creates enough space to enter intentionally into practice while remaining accessible enough to return to regularly.
The purpose is not endurance.
The invitation is consistency.
Rather than practicing intensely once and forgetting the experience, you are invited to develop a relationship with the breath through repetition.
Eleven minutes becomes a small sacred appointment with yourself.
Because some things are understood differently when we return to them.
The first time you encounter a breathing practice, much of your attention may be devoted simply to learning it.
Then you return.
And return again.
What initially felt unfamiliar begins to become known. You may notice different thoughts, sensations, resistance, ease, questions, or moments of stillness.
The 30-day container gives us time to move beyond simply learning a technique and begin experiencing what it means to have a practice.
You will be encouraged to return regularly to your practices between our private sessions, but The Mystic Experience is not built around perfection or maintaining an unbroken streak.
This is practice, not performance.
Your relationship with the breath is allowed to be human.
We return when we can.
And when we have wandered away, we begin again.
Yes. No previous experience with breathwork, yoga, or meditation is required.
Your breathing practices are introduced and guided privately, giving you an opportunity to ask questions and become familiar with each technique before practicing independently.
You do not need to know how to meditate.
You do not need to consider yourself spiritual.
You simply need a willingness to enter the practice with curiosity.
The Mystic Experience is offered privately through Zoom, which means you can practice from your own space.
Before your session, choose somewhere quiet where you can sit comfortably and remain undisturbed.
During our private online breathwork session, I will explain and demonstrate the breathing practice, guide you through your 11-minute experience, and remain with you through the periods of stillness and reflection that follow.
Being online also allows the practice to travel with you. Your Temple does not exist in a studio.
You create the sacred space wherever you are.
They can overlap, but they are not necessarily the same practice.
Meditation often works directly with awareness, observation, concentration, or contemplation. Breathwork intentionally works with breathing patterns.
Within The Mystic Experience, the two often meet.
The breath gives the mind somewhere to rest its attention.
Then the breathing practice ends.
What remains is stillness.
Sometimes the breath is the practice.
Sometimes it is simply the doorway into it.
It can be.
Breath has held symbolic and spiritual significance across many cultures and contemplative traditions. It is intimately connected with ideas of life, spirit, presence, and awareness.
The Mystic Experience honors that dimension of the breath without requiring adherence to any particular religion or belief system.
You are invited to bring your own understanding of the sacred.
Or no understanding at all.
Experience comes first.
You do not need to choose the Temple representing the person you want to become.
Choose the one that speaks to the place you find yourself now.
If you are longing for quiet, perhaps you enter the Temple of Stillness.
If you are seeking space to listen inwardly, perhaps you enter the Temple of Illumination.
If your inner world feels restless or uncertain, perhaps you enter the Temple of Refuge.
If you find yourself standing at the edge of something that asks courage of you, perhaps you enter the Temple of Courage.
There is no correct doorway.
Enter the one that calls to you.
The Mystic Experience does not promise a particular emotional, spiritual, therapeutic, or medical outcome.
Peace, courage, clarity, and refuge are landscapes we explore through practice, not outcomes I promise to produce.
You are not entering a Temple to become a perfected version of yourself.
You are entering to practice.
To breathe.
To notice.
To experience.
And to discover for yourself what unfolds.
No.
The Mystic Experience is a breathwork, meditation, and contemplative wellness practice. It is not psychotherapy, medical treatment, diagnosis, or a substitute for professional mental-health or medical care.
If you are receiving care from a qualified healthcare or mental-health professional, breathwork should be considered a complementary personal practice rather than a replacement for that care.
Not every breathing technique is appropriate for every person.
Some breathwork practices may involve changes in breathing rhythm, breath retention, or other techniques that may not be suitable for certain medical conditions, during pregnancy, or in other circumstances.
Before beginning your 30-day journey, you will receive information about the practices and an opportunity to disclose relevant considerations.
If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, have concerns about whether a breathing practice is appropriate for you, or have been advised to limit particular breathing exercises, consult an appropriate qualified healthcare professional before participating.
Your well-being always comes before completing a practice.
Very little.
A quiet space.
A comfortable place to sit.
A reliable internet connection for Zoom.
Your practice journal.
And eleven minutes in which you are willing to meet the breath.
Everything else begins there.
You do not need to know exactly what you are seeking before you begin.
Sometimes the practice reveals the question.
Sometimes it offers stillness around the question.
And sometimes eleven minutes of conscious breath is simply eleven minutes of being completely present with yourself.
Come as you are.
Choose your Temple.
Enter the practice.
